Abstract

One of the primary ways that doctors learn about medications is through journal 
advertisements. Numerous studies have critiqued the quality of the information on medicines offered in 
journal advertising, despite the fact that drug promotion regulations and controls are available globally. 
Nevertheless, no attempt has been made to compile this corpus of work in a methodical manner. In order 
to evaluate all research that has looked at the caliber of pharmaceutical advertisements for prescription 
goods in pharmacy and medical journals, we created this systematic review.
