In developed nations, the prevalence of diabetes has risen recently. Smoking, poor nutrition, and inactivity
have all been linked to this, and diabetes has emerged as a significant contributor to the rising death rate
[1]. The International Diabetes Federation research states that 415 million people worldwide have diabetes
in 2015 and that the number of people with the disease is still rising. Because of this, there has been an
increase in interest in treating prediabetes by keeping blood glucose levels below those necessary for a
diabetes diagnosis in order to stop the onset of full-blown diabetes.
