Over the last 20 years, an increasing number of researchers in the area of Construction Engineering and Management (CEM)
have relied on the Delphi method as their primary research tool. There are a lot of studies on Delphi, but not many have looked
at how it may work with other statistical methods. This is certain to change in the future of Delphi studies. The purpose of this
research is to conduct a systematic literature review of 88 works that pertain to the topic of coupled Delphi and other
quantitative approaches in the CEM sector. From 1990 to 2012, 88 publications were meticulously selected from 10 prestigious
peer-reviewed CEM journals. We take a look at the 88 Delphi publications and assess their statistical methods, topic breadth,
and application needs. We also take a look at how the Delphi approach may be used with three additional modeling techniques:
Analytical Hierarchy Process, Analytical Network Process, and Fuzzy sets. For researchers interested in implementing the
Delphi technique in CEM research, these review findings give practical references. - Downloads
